Our founder - Antonia 

Since 2007, I have been at the helm of a dynamic activity and language company for children aged 0-12 years, based in the South of France. 

My journey has been enriching and multifaceted:

Impact: We've supported over 7,500 children and work with 250 families each term.

Operations: I manage a team of 20, encompassing full-time staff and part-time contractors, across 3 premises.

Expertise: I've developed a diverse skill set, from marketing and finance to HR and programme planning.

Before this venture, my career path was equally diverse. Initially, I worked in corporate IT as a Project and Operations Manager.

 During my first pregnancy, I explored entrepreneurship by setting up an apartment rental business in Nice and an Au Pair Agency in the UK - a bold move at the time, aimed at facilitating work-from-home opportunities post-maternity leave.

Moving to France marked a new chapter. I transitioned from the rental and Au Pair businesses to establish an online activity website, followed by a bricks-and-mortar activity centre. 

This entrepreneurial journey has been further enriched by my pursuit of continuous learning, evidenced by 8 years working with Business Coaches, various courses NeuroLanguage Coaching TM, Leadership & Change Management , trainings like Montessori 0-3/ 3-6 years and a Child Psychology certificate.

My entrepreneurial spirit runs deep, with a family history of small business ownership and education professionals.

 Fun fact: My ancestor left France to become a French teacher, and my grandparents both ran a school, highlighting that education truly is in my DNA!

In essence, my career has been a blend of corporate experience, entrepreneurial ventures, and a deep-seated passion for education and child development.

This is however a family business and so it is a huge honour to be working alongside my two children who are both fully bilingual and heave been studying International Business, Psychology and Education which has had impact into our programmes and where we will take Beau Academy to in the future. 

Their insights into learning languages and their areas of expertises have been critical in getting these programmes off the ground.
